| In order to promote economic development and to meet the people’s material life, resource has been over develop and utilize in which resulting damage to the global shortage of resources and ecological environment and put the earth’s resources in a poor state. Solve the energy issue has become a top priority for the future human society. The development of new energy is the future trend of development. Among the new sources, solar energy is believed to be the most promising way to produce electricity.This paper firstly introduced an overview of the background and significance of solar photovoltaic power generation, and the development of photovoltaic industry at home and abroad. Then studied the structure and principles of its operation mode of photovoltaic power generation system and analyzed the characteristics of various operation modes.The study on the charging and discharging characteristics and the method of the battery for independent photovoltaic solar system as well as the functions and principles of two kinds of common DC converters have been described: the Buck circuit and the Boost circuits. Conducted conversion circuit simulation and experiment which provide a reference for off-grid photovoltaic systems engineering design and component selection.In order to ascertain the light intensity and temperature on the maximum power point, focusing on solar photovoltaic cells and characteristics. Established a mathematical model of the ideal model of photovoltaic cells and the actual engineering.The numerical simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the model provides a theoretical basis to determine the maximum power point of photovoltaic cells for solar photovoltaic systems’ engineering design.The design of a complete off-grid PV systems according to the needs of the user load in the background of Yushu in Qinghai solar power system completed. This paper discussed the photoelectric conversion efficiency of solar panels, energy storage power generation system, comprehensive cost and other issues for harsh environments at high altitudes. Then proposed the solution on the use of optical storage machine with complete charge and discharge control, maximum power point tracking and the inverter process program, which can better improve the conversion efficiency of the western high altitude solar power systems. |
