Health monitoring, a vital component to the bridge, the optimal placement of the sensor sensitivity is capable of justifying the impair, acquiring segmental and overall information, giving a warn at a special moment at first[3]. In the next place, financial and human resources would be cut down. Last but not the least,the disturb of the mistaken messages would be minified. All in all, it would be great value of realizing the goal of Long life design. The research and discussion upon the optimal placement of the sensor sensitivity hasn’t come to a stop.So far, no perfect way is able to meet the target.There are always some intrinsic deficiencies in the placement. If there were no precise materials,there would be no true estimation. The main contents are as following:Above all, in the light of the principle, the deviation in SHM should be minimized, I set up a Midas model, afterwards write a bending moment equation with an axiom of force method, and optimize the displacement of static sensors by GA toolbox. At last, we discover the key to the question. Later,I transfer the mode vector to the mode function as the basis of the best solution.The next, I set up a Midas module, work on the similarities of the mode, the vibration component is a relative value, on the background of the evaluation of two norm, I introduce the one norm into evaluation, find out the mode which is not linear correlation to analyze.Last but not the least, in consideration of each vibration component, I make a description of the least square method and the way of the fitting. At last, I find the most accurate way of fitting is the Fourier curve fitting, program the MATLAB, according to the MAC regulation, optimize the result and find out the optimal placement of the sensor of bridge structure. At last, I make a comparement with modal motion energy method, I find that it is more fit for the continuous beam.
