In the later period, many country in the world constructed a lot of prestressed concrete continuous girder bridges. In the past years, the theory and experience of constructed are not yet mature, and there are also some quality defects in construction. At present, prestressed concrete continuous girder bridge appears some diseases including box girder cracking and mid-span deflection. From the present situation of our country existing PC continuous girder bridge and on the basis of summarizing the common upper and lower bridge structure strengthening methods, this paper analyses the main diseases of this type bridge, and the influencing factors of mid-span deflection. In this paper, additional arch reinforcing system effectively strengthens common diseases of long-span PC continuous girder bridge and discusses the basic principle of strengthening methods, construction methods, construction of key steps. The main research content includes:1) This paper analyses main diseases(box girder cracking and mid-span deflection) of PC continuous girder bridge in detail and puts forward corresponding treatment measures for major diseases.2) This paper analyses influence factors of mid-span deflection of prestressed concrete continuous girder bridge, and the finite element software simulation effect of all the factors.3) This paper puts forward additional arch reinforcement method for the common diseases of prestressed concrete continuous girder bridge and focuses on the basic principle of the reinforcement method and structure theory, the finite element simulation process, the construction method.4) Additional arch reinforcement method is used to realize the reinforcement a prestressed concrete continuous girder bridge with disease. Before and after reinforcement, this paper consider the model with static analysis and dynamic analysis and compares the stress and deformation.
