This paper mainly does the linear stability analysis on the cylinder film jet process. As known, the typical factor affects the stability of the cylinder liquid surface is the surface wave growth, However,we can see the relation between the wave number and the wave growth is implicit from the dispersion relation, we cannot get the direct relation from the dispersion relation, so we can get solution through using the Fortran language to programming based on the dispersion relation. In the analysis process, We can get the relation between the wave number and the wave growth under different condition by changing the input parameters,what’s more,The liquid velocity Reynolds number, Mach number, Weber number, Euler number, Greek number have very important influence on the cylindrical film stability.Draw data graphics by the software that is based on the programming results, then do the analysis about the linear stability analysis on the cylinder film:Each one of The single sinuous, varicose, twin sinuous and three varicose surface wave shap is U type, as well as,along with the increase of the wave number,the wave growth shows first increase and then decrease,that is the biggest wave growth will exist along with the increase of the wave number. In this condition, the cylinder film is more likely to break up, the corresponding wave number is called the dominant wave number. This paper also considers the influence of the Weber number on the jet process, with the growth of the Weber number, the dominant wave number and the maximum growth number also increase,which can show the film is more likely to break up as long as the increase of air power. In this paper,compared sinuous with varicose, we can know the wave growth of single sinuous is larger than varicose when the Weber number is certain. This show the varicose wave is more steady than the sinuous,in other word, the varicose wave is more likely to break up than the sinuous,. So the sinuous wave plays more important role than varicose. Compared with the Weber number between sinuous and varicose, the Weber number of varicose is larger than the sinuous. In the higher Weber Number, the wave growth is more larger and cylinder film is more likely to break up.Because the low and medium film velocity develop the sinuous wave easily, but the filmvelocity is medium or high is more likely to develop varicose wave, so the study of the varicose wave has more important significance than the sinuous wave in the spray filed. The surface wave growth on cylinder film in different orders is analyzed in this paper, we can know the atomization effect of the single thigh wave is better than the twin thighs wave or treble thighs wave. This paper also considers the influence of the liquid viscidity on the jet process, with the growth of the liquid viscidity,the wave growth decrease, which show that the growth of the liquid viscidity make the surface wave more steady, the cylinder film break up difficultly and the atomization effect become worse.
