The number of bridge in our country has surpassed the U.S. and become the world’s biggest owner of bridge. Therefore, it has been regarded as a common concern of how to manage and maintain these large quantity of bridge effectively. The very urgent work is to develop a modern bridge inspection and maintenance system, which integrating with the code for the current bridge maintenance and with the aid of the computer technology. The paper based on the investigation on the existing bridge management system, carried out the following work:(1) Research on the standardization of the systemThrough the analysis of bridge maintenance process recorded in the existing bridge maintenance specification :《JTG H11—2004[S] Code for Maintenance of Highway Bridges and Culverts》, we build the inspection system that recorded in the specification into our newly formed system to provide our users a standard maintenance process. Meanwhile, setting up standard disease system of the bridge, acts as an reference for the inspectors to carry out a standardized record.(2) Establishing the structure management systemThrough the investigation and analysis of existing network level and project level bridge management system, looking for an integration of these two level bridge management systems, to achieve the combination of the two systems.(3) Establishing the state of technology evaluation systemSummarizing several evaluation methods in the present specification, combined with practical experience, to standardize the existing evaluation methods, improve the reliability of evaluation results. Meanwhile, through the research of several other evaluation methods outside the specification, embodied them in the system,to form bridge condition evaluation system. |
