The concrete road has great significance as resources exportation in Inner Mongolia, however it faces severe cold injury due to awful climate, long and cold winter in this place. It’s theoretical and practical significance for cement concrete pavement frost-resistance research to reduce pavement diseases, improve the durability of concrete, prolong the service life of road, and save maintenance fund.The project depending on BaiYinhua to Horin highway first set up road weather stations and paved test road for meteorological observation; then began to investigate the environment climate, including the solar radiation, temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, rainfall, evaporation, surface internal temperature etc. Next researchers analyzed the key influence elements between frost-resistance and environment climate. Through the analysis of characteristics of freeze-thaw damage of concrete pavement, this paper revealed the mechanism of action of producing frost damage in the concrete pavement. Through indoor simulation experiment, this paper analyzes the influence of pavement composition, strength grade of concrete material and environment conditions on freeze-thaw damage of concrete pavement and found concrete pavement performance decay laws under the action of freezing and thawing. Finally this paper put forward some technical measures to improve the frost-resistance of concrete road including optimizing the design of the material composition, adding air-entraining agent, strengthening the construction control, etc.This study found that the material composition make obviously effects on the frost-resistance of concrete, choosing appropriate cement type may improve the frost-resistance of concrete; selecting low water absorption and high mechanical property is useful for the frost-resistance. Using CNF-3, a high air entraining effective water reducing retarder, can improve the construction and distribution of air vent in the hardened concrete efficaciously, thus it enhances the frost-resistance and endurance quality of concrete. Stones mixture ratio and construction quality significantly influence the frost-resistance durability of cement concrete. Therefore, in order to improve the frost-resistance performance of concrete material, the material composition, water cement ratio, air content, full water status and other factors must be strictly controlled.
