In order to provide the scientific basis and methods of the natural secondary scenic forest scenery quality, the SBE method was adopted to Jilin city beauty degree assessment on Dashimengou forest park, used the correlation analysis and variance analysis of 17 forest characteristics index screening. Ultimately selected for forest had a greater influence on the degree of beauty of 9 indicators. According to the relationships between reference index and the degree of beauty,using linear model to construct the forest landscape beauty degree assessment model. For the survey of 78 species of landscape type cluster to analysis, eventually they have been divided into three categories. The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)The shrub height, trees form, degree of nature, trees arrangement and perspective’s influence on beauty degree have been remarkable, the relationships between color contrast, visual center, texture, dimensional feeling and beauty degree have been significant, the average height of trees, average DHB of trees, under branch height/tree height, shrub forests down wood degrees, crown density, shrub coverage, herb coverage, privacy and the phase’s relationship with degrees of beauty did not reach significant level. The absolute value size of correlation coefficient can determine the index‘s influence on beauty, the phase relationship between indicators and scenic forests in turns for: trees form>trees arrangement > perspective distance > degree of natural > shrub height > color contrast > texture > dimensional feeling > visual center.(2)The analysis of variance showed that, different degrees between degree of beauty with trees form, texture, degree of natural, perspective distance, trees arrangement and shrub height have been significant difference, the color contrast, visual center and dimensional feeling are not significant. The trees form, degree of natural, trees arrangement, texture and perspective distance have positive linear relationship with beauty grade, shrub height and beauty degree level have negative linear relationship. On the basis of indicators and beauty relation between grade beauty degree model has been set up as follows:SBE=-128.391+15.63 Trees form-3.615 Shrub height+20.379Perspectivedistance+17.933 Degree of nature(3)With the significant correlation between degree of trees form, trees arrangement, shrub height, dimensional feeling, visual center, color contrast, texture, perspective distance, degree of natural nine indicators, using Euclidean distance to measure the differences of screening after nine indicators, from the sum of squared residuals method has been applied to 78 pieces of landscape forest system clustering, the forest landscape is divided into three categories. After clustering of the three kinds of landscape through this research, build the forest beauty degree model to determine the landscape quality. The results show that, the type Ⅰ forest scenery is the best quality, the value of the beauty is 33.08, range is between 8.75 ~ 52.4, defined as the high degree of landscape beauty; type Ⅱforest scenery’s quality is better, the value of the beauty is 14.36, range is between 20.79 ~ 38.53; defined as the middle degree of landscape beauty; type Ⅲ forest landscape’s quality is the worst, the value of the beauty is-30.81, defined as the low degree of landscape beauty.
