Transportation is an economic lifeline of country.Some of the hub structure in transportation infrastructure relate to the key part of the development of the whole transport sector.Constructing and maintaining of these structures is a very important part for the national infrastructure.At the same time, it also reflects the development of economic and the power of technology of a country.Monitoring bridge not only can find the disease of bridge early,but also can provide a reliable basis and guidance for the maintenance and conservation management decisions.This paper introduces an intelligent bridge structural health monitoring system based on 6Lo WPAN wireless sensor networks.The system combines 3G wireless transmission technology and 6Lo WPAN technology.The system builds a wireless sensor network bridge structure status monitoring platform,and establishes a multi-level network architecture,including the data collection node, the central node(gateway) and the remote server.The system collects data by various types of sensors which installed in various parts of the bridge.The module 6Lo WPAN transfers data to central node(gateway),then central node(gateway) transfers data to the server by the module of 3G.In order to meet the special need of deploying in the field long-term,this paper designed a power system which supplied by solar and lithium battery.In order to ensure the quality of access, and allows users remotely log Web site to research data about the bridge structure easily, the design of system master is B / S structure.In this paper, designing the hardware circuit for system,including peripheral circuits of the CC2530 chip,the peripheral circuits central node(gateway) control S3C2440 A chip, and drive circuit and power supply circuit of EM770 W.In the system software, including driver circuit of each sensing module in the wireless sensor node,program of send and receive data between nodes,and program of send and receive data between central node(gateway).Finally,testing each module of system,and the whole system online.The results show that the system can accurately collect each parameter and transmit to the server, and run in good condition, meet the design requirements.
