The physical properties of soil is very complex,So people have a lot of research about its properties of the physical, the macroscopic characteristics of soil determines the physical properties of soil, For its macroscopic properties is determined by its microstructure. So the study of soil microstructure has significant.The permeability coefficient is one of the parameters of the macroscopic properties of soil, The characteristics of micro pore of soil and has a significant effect on the permeability of soil.So in this article, and then explore the microscopic pore structure of soil and its correlation between macroscopic permeability, and through the experiment and the analysis of the results, through exploring the macroscopic permeability of soil and the relationship between the microscopic pore characteristics.In the study of soil microscopic pore characteristics and the relationship between the permeability of soil. the variable water head permeability test and mercury injection test, got the permeability coefficient, then analysis of soil microscopic pore characteristics, Using the fractal theory, the pore fractal dimension of soil, the permeability coefficient is established and the relation between the pore fractal dimension.On the relationship between the pore diameter of the power series of samples and the permeability was studied.In this thesis, the main research work and the final conclusion is as follows(1)In this thesis,the preparation of the soil sample, The clay taken from wuhan site, To measure the Physical indicators first, then dry sieving, adopt the method of static pressure test preparation parallel remake sample of two groups, respectively, for mercury injection experiment and penetration test.(2) In the variable water head permeability test, By the measurement data and darcy formula obtained the sample permeability coefficient, get the relationship between permeability coefficient and void ratio curve, the permeability coefficient is increased with the increase of void ratio, but its no linear correlation.(3)By mercury injection test Have sample soil pore diameter cumulative into mercury and the distribution variation law of porosity, combined with fractal theory, the sample soil pore aperture with obvious fractal characteristics, the linear correlation of the fitted curve is very good, and the pore size distribution fractal dimension, is increases with the porosity of the sample and small, as the sample dry density increases.(4)In penetration test, the research on the relationship between the coefficient of permeability and porosity, Take logarithm of permeability coefficient k, and study on the relationship between the porosity n again, obtained the relationship between them.(5)Then relation between the above two groups simultaneous, the sample of the void ratio, after conversion, finally got the sample of the relation between the coefficient of permeability and pore volume fractal dimension.
