| With the development of small unmanned aircraft vehicles and helicopters, small aviation kerosene piston engine was put forward the higher request. The piston engine with kerosene can improve security and reduce the energy crisis. At present, most of domestic light power plants are gasoline engines. The technology of kerosene engine is not mature. There are some technical problems of restructuring kerosene engine on the basis of gasoline engine. Analysis and optimization of the overall performance on the kerosene engine, it can provide a reference for the reform engine, solve the problems on the development of the new model engine.In this paper, first a gasoline engine simulation model was built, based on the one-dimensional numerical simulation software GT-Power. The accuracy of the model was verified by bench test. With the changes of the intake/exhaust structure and fuels properties in the restructuring kerosene engine, the numerical simulation model of modified kerosene engine was built. Then calculated and analyzed the overall performance of the kerosene engine, the influence law of the kerosene engine working conditions and the engine design parameters on the engine performance. In the aspect of engine working conditions, test verification to the performance analysis was carried out, including the simulating altitude inlet/exhaust pressure and the simulating altitude temperature. The results showed that the calculation result and experiment result have a good consistence. The models of gasoline engine and kerosene engine were proved accuracy. In the aspect of engine design parameters, according to the performance influence law by compression ratio, ignition advance angle, and air-fuel ratio. Then the ignition advance angle and air-fuel ratio were selected as the design variables, the output power and fuel consumption were selected as the target, the knock induction time integral was selected as the constraint condition. mode FROINTER software coupling with the GT-Power software was used to do the optimization design analysis. In different working conditions, the optimal solution set was calculated. It provides new ideas and methods for research and performance optimization of kerosene engine.The research work of this paper is a new attempt to the overall performance analysis, testing and optimization on small aviation kerosene piston engine. The study methods and study conclusion have certain reference value for developing small aviation kerosene piston engine in China. |
