The endo-atmospheric ballistic glide missile is a combination of ballistic missile and cruise missile.The research has involved in lots of problems especially in guidance and control.Its trajectory characteristic analysis and guidance design consults ballistic missile that the trajectory is divided into three segments to analyse. According to the flight parameters variety, The range flexibility of cruise missile is considered under the simple condition of mechanics and kinematics, then an scheme trajectory design based on energy management and an guidance method through state space are proposed.The trajectory of endo-atmospheric ballistic glide missile distinguishes from general ballistic trajectory,which has particular characteristics. In general,according to the mechanics analysis,the trajectory can be departed into three segments. They are the booster segment, glide segment and final attack segment. The difference of mechanics and kinematics of the three segments is prominence. Previously, The booster segment is the same as that of ballistic missile, engineer design method is used. However, The difference lies in the final part of the program angle. An extra design is made up to link the glide program angle to prevent the missile from overdrive and over aerodynamic heat. The glide segment vary from the free flight phase of ballistic missile that the aerodynamics can not be ignored in addition to the gravity, so the attitude items are added into the movement functions.About the guidance method design of ando-atmopheric ballistic-glide missile, open-loop guidance method is applied in the booster segment, the scheme tracking guidance method in glide segment, and additionally self-aim guidance in the final attack segment. Compared to the cruise missile, there is little power device to provide great flexibility and error-correct ability for the missile. And there are complicated constraints for the glide missile. Additionally, Both booster segment and final attack segment result in another constraint for the glide segment.Through an detail analysis of ballistic missile and cruise missile,there are lots of key issues that lie in the scheme trajectory and guidance method design of endo-atmospheric ballistic-glide missile.
