Although solar energy is abundant, clean and pollution-free sustainable use, however, solar power exists shortcomings as dispersion, the spatial distribution of intermittent changes are not uniform and unstable etc., so it’s essential to collect solar energy by some technology and equipment. In this paper, a solar concentrator, line Fresnel lens modified, which is a device to collect sunlight by increasing energy flux density of solar energy and improve the utilization ratio of solar energy,is researched.At present, the Fresnel lens because of its unique advantage has been widely researched and applied. Point focusing Fresnel lens because of its high concentrated multiple has been widely applied to the technology of photovoltaic power generation, but line focus of Fresnel lens of low concentrated multiple is few researched. The paper focus on designing and studying line Fresnel lens and designing it into multiple lines line focusing condenser that can be used for the flat solar water heater. This study will not only provide a new train of the research of Fresnel lens, but also provide a new way to popularity of the solar water heater.Paper first studied the Fresnel lens design method according to the principle of optical and geometrical,uniform design is given;calculated model parameters of lens according to the structure of Fresnel lens and matlab mathematical program;and using Proe 3D parametric modeling software with Tracepro optics,simulated with software spotlight effect of Fresnel lens researched.The article had analyzed spotlight effect of linear Fresnel lens that had been designed from rib width,f/# and incidence angle based on the Trace Pro optical simulation, and analyzed by contrast the influence degree of rib width,f/# and incidence on the planar and linear Fresnel lens and cambered and linear Fresnel lens. The size of a single rib width of the lens has great influence on geometric concentrating ratio and light-gathering efficiency of the lens. The basic trend was that the geometric concentrating ratio and light-gathering efficiency of planar and linear Fresnel lens and cambered and linear Fresnel lens decreased with the size of a single rib width of the lens increases. The geometric concentrating ratio and light-gathering efficiency of planar and linear Fresnel lens and cambered and linear Fresnel lens increased fist, and then gentled with the f/# of the lens increases. The geometric concentrating ratio and light-gathering efficiency of planar and linear Fresnel lens and cambered and linear Fresnel lens decreased with the incidence angle of the lens increases. And the influence degree of the planar and linear Fresnel lens was bigger than the cambered and linear Fresnel lens. Considering processing difficulty and processing cost, the article had reached a decision: when the rib width was 1mm, f/# among 0.8~1.2 and incidence angle was zero, the spotlight effect of linear Fresnel lens is the best.Then, modeled the simulation system of Fresnel lens, the planar and linear Fresnel lens of focal length of 100 mm, detector size of 100mm*500mm, rib width of 1 mm and thickness of 1 mm, the cambered and linear Fresnel lens detector size of 100mm*500mm, focal length of 82.71 mm, radius of curvature of 47.75 mm, caliber of 82.71 mm, rib width of 1 mm and thickness of 1 mm, and simulated the concentrating performances of Fresnel lens in focal point through the software ray tracing function. And then multiple lines line focusing condenser were designed based on the planar and linear Fresnel lens and cambered and linear Fresnel lens that had been designed and analyzed, and its feasibility was studied. In this analysis, the spotlight effect of the multiple lines line focusing condenser was perfect. Because flat solar of multiple lines line focusing condenser is easy to combine with the building, this research will promote the development of new flat solar energy and promote the popularization of solar water heater in high-rise buildings.
