The bridge using the rotational construction method is done in a non-design position, and then measured in place by twist. T-rigid frame bridge is widely used in engineering, and we can take a lot of construction methods to support it. This paper focuses on the frame bridge which is using the rotational construction method. This method takes less time and need high degree on precision, so it is the most important and difficult part of the construction.In this paper, we use the T-rigid frame bridge of Tianjin-Baoding railway as the research object, which is crossing Beijing-Guangzhou railway. The main research contents include:① This paper will summarize the controlling factors of building the swivel system. With these factors, we can ensure the quality and safety of the bridge. To make the weighing test, we use the method of ball joint rotation. And then we can get the counterweight program.② This paper will summarize the principle of finite element analysis used in the bridge. We use the software CSB and MIDAS/Civil to simulate the bridge structure. The results contain stress and displacements of each construction stage. By comparing the results of two software, We can ensure the accuracy of the results.③ This paper also summarizes the control theory which is used in the bridge, especially the identification and adjustment of construction stage. After analysis, we can get the camber of the bridge and give the formwork elevation of each construction stage. We can detect the construction status of each construction stage after on-site inspection. Comparing the measured values with the theoretical values, we can observe the bridge condition of each stage.④ We use MIDAS/FEA to build a solid model of the ball joint. The results also contain stress and displacements. In the field, we use testing instruments to get the stress found of the ball joint. By comparing the results and controlling the weight, we can ensure the stability of the bridge.
