Development Of Test Rig Of Shifting Performance Of Commercial Vehicle Transmissions

Shifting performance of transmission is an important index to appraise comprehensive practical performance of transmission. To review and test shifting performance of transmission, the transmission must be installed on the test, and the various tests are selected by shifting manipulator. Through recording the relationship between shifting force and time,the relationship between displacement and time, the shifting performance of transmission can be analyzed and evaluated. So this paper mainly on test rig of shifting performance of transmission for research and development, to meet the needs of the key assembly quality evaluation of commercial vehicle. This topic combined with chongqing 121 commercial vehicle transmission demonstrative project of science and technology support project- "key technology research and collaborative innovation for commercial vehicle transmission", the main research contents are as follows:â‘ The overall scheme of test rig of shifting performance of transmission is designed. The selection of all the parts and the design of the fittings parts is finished. At the same time, the bracket of rig is designed, which make the test rig to be suitable for the different types of transmission. Telescoping shield is designed for test rig to improve the security of test.â‘¡The design of shifting manipulator is completed, which realize the cross shifting experiments and sequential shifting experiments for the transmissions. Meanwhile, the layout analysis of shifting manipulator is completed, in order to avoid the interference when decorating shifting manipulator. The design of general and fine-tuning installation are taken into consideration in the design of shifting manipulator.â‘¢The strength check of shifting manipulator is completed. The kinematics simulation of shifting manipulator is completed, meanwhile the motion relations between active parts and follower of the shifting manipulator is deduced, which could be helpful to establish the mathematical model of the relations between experiment measured shift force and actual shift force.â‘£According to the requirements of measurement range and measurement accuracy of test rig of shifting performance of transmission, the selection of various kinds of measuring element is completed. The drive mode and control mode of the shifting manipulator is studied, which has paved the way for the writing and debugging of control program. In the design of the test rig, the running test is completed, and the test rig has reached the design requirements which is preliminarily verified.
