Power system as the essential part of the micro satellite plays an important role in the development of micro satellite. Its high integration, high efficiency and high reliability are the key issues in the research. Maximum Power Point Tracking technology is recognized as an effective way to improve the utilization efficiency of photovoltaic cells. Therefore, this paper research for the Microsat power supply system maximum power point tracking problem.For the defects of the most common perturbation observation method, I puts forward the modified variable step size perturbation observation method in this paper. The Simulink simulation platforms of photovoltaic array are built, it verify variable size method can track the maximum power point accurately. This paper uses Superboost topology as DC-DC converter and set up small signal model by using the method of average components and state-space averaging method. This paper adopts the double loop of regulation bus switch control system in order to make the system obtain good dynamic characteristic and stability. The simulation results show that the system’s phase margin meets the requirements of aerospace power.The flexibility and rich I/O port make the FPGA become the core of the digital power. I propose the digital control scheme based on the FPGA in this paper, timing and function simulation to every modular, the modular design is benefit to the expand and upgrade of the digital power supply system. Design the Register-Transfer Level for the controller makes use of the Quartus II software.Apply the digital power supply controller to the designed structures and set up the maximum power point tracking experiment platform, the main circuit of MPPT control is the Superboost converter. Experiment for the improved the disturbance of observation, the results show that the accuracy of the maximum power point tracking method reaches 99.281% and the feasibility of this method is verified.
