Since the cement stabilized macadam base with a good overall stability and durability, high strength and load-bearing capacity and other characteristics,now widely used in China’s highway construction. Each grade highways in China has completed the construction of more than 90% is used in lime, fly ash and cement stabilized material is semi-rigid material represented as road base material. But cement stabilized gravel stratum there are also some disadvantages difficult to overcome: for example, the sensitivity of overloading, poor drainage, easy to shrinkage cracking, surface easy scouring. Seasonal Frozen northern region has a long-time annual low, long and cold winter, summer and winter dramatic changes, sooner or later, large temperature difference between climate characteristics, such climatic conditions not conducive to the region for the use of cement stabi lized gravel road base material.
