With the rapid development of space technology, space platform becomes a new research direction, space weapon platform can be an important weapon platform. It can run on its standby orbit for a long time, and adjust its own running state and orbit flexibly according to the instructions. After receiving the instructions, it need take a short time to start and launch weapons to attack the enemy targets, which raises high technical requirements for the position and attitude determination, the orbit determination for the enemy target and the transfer alignment. The key space platform technology is researched, which includes position and attitude determination, the orbit determination for the enemy target and the transfer alignment.Firstly, the coordinate system, descriptions for attitude parameters, mathematical models of measuring instruments and algorithm are introduced. Selecting high-precision star sensor and strong-autonomy gyro as measuring instruments, the algorithm for attitude determination of space weapon platform based on EKF is analyzed. According to space environment, GPS is used for position determination. Above is position and attitude determination of space weapon platform.Secondly, this paper introduces formulas of orbit parameters by position and velocity vectors, analyzes two ways of initial orbit determination, namely Gibbs’ method of orbit determination from three position vectors and Lambert’s problem, researches the error analysis for Gibbs’ method, deduces the sensitivity matrixes of orbit parameters based on the position errors and error synthesis formulas. Computer is used to conduct the simulation verification for the two ways of initial orbit determination, and analyze the relationships between position errors and orbit parameters errors.Finally, a transfer alignment way of space weapon is researched, which uses high-precision star sensor installed on the weapon, and the system model using position and attitude matching is established. Kalman filter is used to conduct the simulation analysis. It proves that the way proposed can be used on the space weapon.
