Following the successful development of the sixth generation semi submersible drilling platform “offshore oil 981”, the 708 Research Institute, and bear the “deep-water semi submersible platform overall design of key technology research”. Research and design a deep-water semi submersible platform to adapt to harsh environment. The platform structure is adopted between the column and upper hull connection using the slider. The platform of the upper production module uses truss structure. Therefore research on vibration and noise characteristics of novel structure. The formation of structural performance optimization and satisfy the overall scheme of the vibration and noise of the latest international specifications. It is the key technology and the difficulty in the overall design of the platform.This paper takes China’s first research and design of deepwater semi submersible production platform for target ship. Aim at the overall structure of the platform. The platform divided into the open area and enclosed cabin area for noise prediction. At the same time, the research of platform structure optimization design method and process analysis theory, the vibration and noise reduction. Find the overall solution to solve target platform structure optimization design. The main contents include:(1)Study on the production of deep water semi submersible platform structure, establish finite element model, research of production platform’s acoustic vibration characteristic.(2)Research of deep water submersible platform’s vibration.To open area’s noise prediction use finite element method and boundary element method. To enclosed cabins’ noise prediction use boundary element method and statistical energy analysis method.(3) Establish boundary element model, calculated noise contours of main deck, tween deck and cellar deck. According to the relevant rules and the noise distribution combined with the IMOA.468(XII). Find excessive noise area and corresponding measures.(4)This article uses VA One software to establish a platform for statistical energy analysis model, by analyzing the noise level of the platform living and working compartments. According to the relevant rules and the noise distribution combined with the IMOA.468(XII) and MSC 337(91).(5)This article uses VA One software to study the medium in cabin, the water and modeling approach which has any impact to the cabin noise prediction.(6)Design typical cabin noise isolation programs, total including many reduction ways, and finally contrast on noise reduction measures feasibility better economy measures.
