The Research Of Residential Area Landscape Practicability Design

To live is the most basic human survival requirement, it carries people’s desire for a better life. In recent years, people have a new request for living with the urbanization process acceleration and the residential area flourish. Landscape plays a decisive role in good psychological environment construction. In order to highlight the delicate housing, the ornamental effect of the landscape designed by developers is greatly higher than the actual function. These causes the project cannot be constructed and bring difficulties for later maintenance work, the late various disputes emerge in endlessly. Therefore, practical problems of landscape should be considered in the process of design and use. Create a low cost, high quality, easy maintenance work of residential area landscape.Based on the study of the problem about the practicability of landscape design, this paper puts forward what is practical and analyzes the principle and application of practical landscape through four parts. The first part explains and illustrates the concept of residential area landscape. The second part analyzes and compares the mid-range residential in xi’an. Through this comparison we could understand the present situation of residential landscape, summarize xi’an residential area landscape development and existing problems at present stage, and analyze the causes of the problem. The third part concludes the design principles of practical landscape and the problems need to be addressed in design through the comparison of the landscape elements in residential area waterscape, rigid pavement, landscape structure and vegetation greening. This part illustrates the combination of landscape design and property management through the landscape costs and maintenance work. Last part analyzes the landscape design of Jia jun residential area which located in the site of Tang Dynasty West Market, this example will put the practical landscape theory into the practical cases.This paper begins with a practical and define concept of landscape. We summarized and analyzed the practical design, the cost and latest maintenance work of the landscape from xi ’an residential area landscape present situation and the existing problems. It is also based on the specific research and its practice, and compared with foreign practical residential area landscape typical examples. Based on the research, it will gradually form a design principle which combines the preliminary design with property management. We sum up the methods and steps, hoping further practical landscape design method are applied in the practice in the future. And integrate theory with practice, with the purpose of actual evidence theory. We hope this paper has a certain reference value for the residential area landscape design in the future work.
