With the development of society and economy in rural northwest, Farmers winter heating demand continues to improve, abundant solar energy resources in the Northwest, Development of rural solar heating can effectively meet the heating requirements of farmers. Rural Solar heating modes include household solar heating and concentrated solar heating, Household heating mode easy operation and the economy is good, but poor heat stability and unable to meet the multi-storey residential heating; Central heating mode heating stability, can meet the residential heating of multilayer or roof day lighting is poor, but also facing large equipment footprint, requires higher density rural housing problems. According the northwest rural villages and residential conditions to choose the suitable model of solar heating is the urgent problems to be solved that solar heating in rural areas to promote. In view of this, This paper mainly carries on the analysis to the feasibility of solar energy heating mode of rural factors, determine the feasibility conditions of heating mode in Northwest Rural applications; To satisfy both the heating mode of the region. from the technical, economic and other aspects, the comprehensive evaluation of the suitability of heating mode.Making a questionnaire investigation of northwest rural solar heating conditions, Grasp the current situation in rural northwest Solar heating conditions, Summarize the use of solar heating in rural northwest existence the major of the following constraints: Higher residential floors, roof is in use or in part state, lack of space to install the collector and rural residential distribution too scattered etc. Through analyzed the influencing factors of the rural solar heating mode, it is concluded that the household solar heating is limited primarily by the number of layers, which Urumqi rural can meet only single layer residential heating, Xi’an, Lanzhou, Yinchuan can meet two layers, Xining and Golmud can meet three layers residential heating; Concentrated solar heating is the main influence factors of collector, installation site and heating the building volume rate, which Xi’an rural average household required 30~40m2, 40~50 m2 in Lanzhou, Yinchuan, 45~60m2 in Urumqi, and 20~30m2 in Xining, Golmud. For building volume rate of conditions, the minimum requirement is 0.38~0.41 in Xi’an, Xining and Golmud rural village, 0.27~0.31 in Lanzhou, Yinchuan and Urumqi. Compared the current concentrated solar heating conditions in northwest rural with the above conditions, showed that Urumqi less than 30% of residents meet the requirements of household solar heating, Xi’an, Lanzhou have less than 20% of rural meet the requirements of concentrated solar heating. Xining, Golmud less than 30% of rural can be satisfied building volume rate of conditions.To satisfy both the heating mode of the region, Comprehensive solar heating mode technical suitability and economic superiority in Northwest applications drawn: Xi’an, Lanzhou most rural suitably used household solar heating, Xining and Urumqi rural suitably used concentrated solar heating, Yinchuan, Golmud in rural areas to be combined with local rural economic development and technology suitability requirements to select appropriate heating mode.
