Stability is one of the most important performance parameters of a repair ship, which basically guaranteed that the repair ship can do the safe navigation and operation. Floating state, and stability power balance is the main content of the stability calculation, directly related to the safety of navigation and operation. With the rapid development of modern computer technology,repair ship stability calculation procedures go to more efficient, intelligent, and multifunctional development. So this thesis is taking the powerful computer calculation software and the simulation software to do the design and research. The main research contents are as follows:Due to bad maintenance working environment of the floating dock in the process of operation,warship in and out of the dock and other factors leads to float state change, as the maintenance and stability is very important indicator, has a high requirement on the data accuracy. In this article, therefore, changed the traditional algorithm of stability, through iteration mother ship floating state, thus solving the mother ship stability arm, makes every effort to accuratelycalculate the stability of the actual situation. And verification by examples, the experimental results show that this method is feasible.At the same time, the thesis also discusses the optimization method of repairing the ship in the real floating state. According to the “ Statics balance principle” and combining the project practical problems, making the goal of admitting the project requirements, adjusting the current tank level as a self variable to establish the loading mathematical model of repairing the ship. Based on this method, using software to calculate to get the effective loading scheme as well as simulate the actual calculation to determine the best steady stowage method. The results indicate that it is feasible by using this method to figure out the optimal solutions of stability. Furthermore, this method is easy and workable with clear thinking as well as under the help of powerful computer calculation it will be widespread used to remarkable improve the work efficiency.Different from general civil ships which always avoid the bad sea conditions and control loading scheme to make it in safe ranges and unwilling to bear the high development and operating expenses for the sake of economic nature, the floating dock must sail taking big risks when performing importance urgency of military action.In the process of operation,during to the large change of, sometimes the operators don’t even know when the stability is beyond the scope of allowing. By now, it is necessary for a accurate and efficient stability monitoring system which let the floating dock operator to understand the status of the ships stability real-time and accurately In order to make the right judgment. So the stability monitoring system is discussed in the end of the thesis which is able to provide a more intuitive platform for the crews and let the floating dock provide real-time and accurate warship stability conditions in order to make the right judgment.
