Tracking turntable is an important part of APT in LEO satellite communication system. As high precision devices to communicate, laser regarded as information carrier, link is set up to accomplish acquisition, pointing and tracking by means of scanning and pass message steadily and fast.Pointing of LEO has been simulated by STK and technical parameters of the terminal has been analyzed, then the tracking turntable motion parameters and circumferential scanning structure type has been obtained.According to the theory of vector rotating and coordinate transformation, the mathematical expressions of the motion between motion axis and optical axis relationship was calculated out. Mechanical parts were designed and optimized reasonably for meeting technical indicators. Statics analysis of the key parts and vibration frequency analysis has been done through ANSYS and precision of the rotary table has been received. The ground demonstration experiment in prediction project could be carried by this turntable. The measure method for tracking precision and pointing of the experimental prototype precision has been established by using measuring angle system and dynamic targets for indoor test plan.
