Gears are widely used in industrial production and mechanical equipment, and it is great of significance for improving gear processing precision and mechanical product performance to research and analyze the gear deviation. In view of this, the deviation of measured gears is calculated and analyzed based on reverse engineering in this paper.In this paper, take the involute straight tooth cylindrical internal gear with known design parameters as an example. Firstly, based on the difference method, the actual gear measurement data which is obtained through laser non-contact measurement is divided. And then use the gear parameters inverse solution to reverse solve the basic parameters of the measured internal gear. Compare the measured parameters with the design parameters to get the deviation. Finally, according to the design parameters, a virtual gear model is built, then substitute the virtual gear data and measured data into the gear deviation mathematical model established in this paper to realize the calculation of the tooth profile deviation, tooth trace deviation, pitch deviation and the full tooth height. Experiments show that this method can effectively solve each deviation of the involute straight tooth cylindrical internal gear.
