With the rapid popularization of automotive in our country, the property of automotive air conditioning has become increasingly prominent influence in the increasingly fierce competition automotive industry. In our country, the production of the automotive air conditioning system is basically still in the process that technology imported and development independently are at the same time. With the feedback data of performance and design data of parallel flow condenser,according to heat transfer and flow correlations of micro-channel tube and louver fins, the effect of the air-side and refrigerant-side of the parallel flow condenser was simulated and analysed. As result, the performance of the system was improved. The works were carried out as following:By analysing characteristics of pressure drop, heat transfer coefficient, and the variation of tempaerature in each flow,and considering the effect of wind speed,ambient temperature on the performance of heat transfer, find the solution to improve the parallel flow heat transfer and flow performance of condenser.Without changing the fin and tube parameters, considering of the models, the cabin space, increase the heat transfer area of the two-phase segment, adjust whole flows and the number of tube in each flow, increase the condenser fan to improve ambient. The improved parallel flow condenser enhance the capability of heat exchange, thereby enhance the overall performanceof the vehicle air-conditioning.The car air conditioning performance test, environmental simulation test and actual vehicle test prove the optimal design of parallel flow condenser. After optimizing, Outlet temperature of condenser is higher than the inlet. The Backflow phenomenon is disappeared. The Cooling effect of the system was significantly better than before.The distribution and variation of pressure, temperature and velocity on the louvered fins were obtained with FLUENT. Numerical calculation results from FLUENT can correct for the results of empirical correlations. It can provide guided principles for the heat exchanger of analyzing and matching.
