The Dedicated CNC System Research Of Large Gantry CNC Honing Machine For Marine

With the development of domestic industry, requirements to the performance of power machinery are improving constantly. The engine is the main power plant for such mechanical products. Cylinder block, as the key part of engine, its processing quality determines the motion performance and reliability of engine to a great extent. At present, the machining precision of cylinder block depends on honing technologye generally. Therefor, the development of CNC honing machine with high precision and high efficiency has an important significance for promoting China’s industry. The CNC of large marine gantry CNC honing system has been studied and developed based on HNC-8 platform in this article. The main work is as follows:Firstly, honing machine servo hydraulic system model has been established by matlab according to the performance of the hydraulic equipment. Based on the field measured actual electronic cam curve of the system, the characteristics of the hydraulic system have been analyzed. A hydraulic servo system control program, which combines the incremental position closed-loop control with electronic cam compensation control, has been designed and implemented. The electronic cam automatic measurement module has been developed to update the electronic cam data in real time. Requirements of the motion control of the hydraulic system have been reached through on-site commissioning test.Secondly, online collection module for apertures of the workpiece and data analysis module have been developed. Based on those modules, the standard short-stroke automatic processing G code has been designed. In the process of honing, apertures returned by sensor have been sampled by the acquisition module. Through the ananlysis of the collected data, the short-stroke G code has been updated, and the automatic "small stroke grinding" function has been achieved.Finally, the HMI of CNC honing machine has been developed based on the HNC-8 API.
