With the rapid development of international airline transport, the problems of airspace resources shortage, capacity of high-density airport lack and some other situations become severer. Various kinds of new technologies of civil aviation have been proposed to make airline transport safer and more efficient. And the application and popularization of these methods have aroused high concern in global civil aviation industry.While flight verification takes a necessary role in the application and popularization of new technology, the characters of high-cost and high-risk seriously hinder its development. So, the preliminary studies of building simulation environment of civil aviation, analyzing feasibility of the new technologies and evaluating safety risk are the link between new theory and flight test in real plane. For lack of related platform, method and essential fundamental data, it is hard to test and analyze new technologies. This paper was mainly based on the structure of system architecture and some fundamental work. The outline of this paper was organized as follows.1.The framework of civil aviation new flight technology simulation system was confirmed after generally analyzing the features of flight technologies that were in practice and proposed recently. Combined with the development in relevant field, the idea of system construction was proposed. 2. Flight environment was established on the base of existing flight simulation software. And a software interface program was developed to realize the data communication between flight simulation software and external unit and took a fundamental role in the structure of system. 3. Considering the system needed to meet the practice demand of testing new technology in civil aviation, a hardware-in-the-loop flight control platform was developed with additional air traffic control regulations and flight constraints. The problem that the autopilot function of existing flight simulation software was unable to meet the demand of new technology could be solved in this way. Distributed and cluster air traffic situation evolution platform was established to simulate the real-time change of air traffic condition caused by the new technology application in specified airspace. Aircrafts in experiment were respectively controlled by different flight controllers. And simulation units located at different places were connected together through network. In addition, flight data generated in simulation process were stored in database. In this way, a distributed hardware in the loop simulation platform was constructed.Finally, the simulation test of the flight method of 4D trajectory for multiple planes in specified airspace was done on this platform and the results show that the platform can meet the design requirements.
