As an effective way to improve driving safety,Intelligent vehicle technology is the current national focus on the development of an important part of intelligent transportation system. Intelligent vehicle technology combines graphics,multidisciplinary such as machine control theory and so on.Compared with other sensors such as ultrasonic, radar, laser technology, visual detection technologyhas a greater amount of information, the characteristics of low cost.This paper is based on machine vision to the lane line detection and vehicle as the research object.Puts forward a method based on improved SUSAN algorithm to detect the edge.In this paper, design of safety early warning system consists of three modules,namely the distance detection vehicles, vehicle lane change test, fatigue test, the main content of the article is as follows:1.Traditional intelligent vehicle technology based on PC Windows system, big volume and resource waste, high cost. In this paper, from the Angle of embedded in the hardware selection, system transplant write, embedded development environment to explain in detail the multiple aspects, such as driving the development of early warning system based on embedded system.2.Jump out of the traditional edge detection algorithm based on complex road conditions, using the improved SUSNA edge detection algorithm, and detect the vehicle combining geometry algorithm and the method of camera calibration, vehicle distance is deduced, which solved the distance from the perspective of visual detection problem.3.Based on embedded system development of the road safety warning system has three modules, using thread scheduling between the three modules, designs and realizes communication between threads.4.Using hough line detection method, solve the problem of the lane line detection from image Angle, analyzes the vehicle safety distance mathematical formulas are derived, a lane change to judge the driver the intention, for safety testing.
