The Mini-vehicle Noise Measurement Analysis And Control

As the explosive growth of the auto industry, there is a growing need of people to improve the ride quality, vibration and noise of vehicle. Statistics show that the main source of the noise in city is the traffic, and the major part of which is noise of automobiles. It is not only the reason of down lowing the ride quality, but also a great influence of people’s work,life and healthy. As a result of that, the requirement of controlling the vibration and noise is more and more important. However, multiple design defects during the development process are still existed, which frustrate us to reduce the vibration noise and passengers’ discomfort. Considering the issue of car development process and cost control, a sufficient test and analyze are needed in the cars those are in the late-stage process to develop a way to lower the noise.There were three major parts of this article:Firstly, the article discussed the meaning and background of controlling for vibration and noise, the main concepts, the history of the research in this area, and what success we had achieved in the academia around the world.Secondly, in order to figure out a way to control the vibration noise effectively, the main construction of the causes, formation progress, analyze and measuring method was fully discussed.At last, this article took the over noise issue of a micro mobile as an example. using the LMS co. Lit.’s vibration analyzing system, we could take various tests on the mobile and make progress on the collected noise samples. Reports for the inside and outside noise of the mobile are obtained by the frequency spectrum analysis and Lead covering technique. As result of that, a prioritization scheme could be raised, which gave us a bright way to control the noise of this type of mobiles.Although there were many ways to reduce the noises, the actual driving circumstance should be concern for the sake of the drivers and passengers’ comforts. at the same time, the economic figures during the mobile manufacture mattered a lot.This article researched the theories of controlling vibration and noise in the late-stage of the micro mobile development, and based on those studied, we brought out a efficient way to solve the problem, and the provide method in this paper was applied to the noise management project on the same type of mobile.
