Study On Evolutional Process Trend Of Urban Blocks Flat Form

With the urbanization, the city expands outward and updates inside. As the elementary cell of urban space unit, the urban blocks plat form showed significant evolution trends under the background of that. This article mainly analyzes the evolution trends with qualitative and quantitative method based on influence factors urban block history evolutional process of China and the west.Firstly, the paper presents the unit flat form in different historical periods of typical urban blocks and reveals the inherent law of urban blocks flat form by numerical statistics. Then, combine the social background and the way of production and living, the paper presents influence factors that affect the urban block flat form, including politics, economy, transportation, technology and history. After that, the paper think that the succession of modern urban block unit plat form tend to increase their spatial scales under the background of urban expansion and urban renewal and reform,and uses the model simulation proves that this hypothesis is right in terms of theory.Finally, on one hand, the paper choosing area index, distance index and dispersity index based on principle of index selection deal with the data that comes from Chongqing Shapingba subdistricts with the help of GIS and Google earth. The results indicates the blocks flat form presents obvious increasing trend generally under the background of urban expansion and renewal. On the other hand, the paper makes urban blocks dispersion and social economic indicators for regression analysis through SPSS software. The result shows that urban population and real estate investment ha ve a great influence on dispersion change.The result indicates that, as the elementary cell of urban space unit, the urban blocks plat form showed significant evolution trends under the back ground of rapid urbanization. There are principally two types of urban space change mode, extroverted urban expansion mode and introverted urban update mode, in either case, the spatial shape of urban blocks tend to increase their spatial scales as well as to reduce the number of blocks, and these changes have important relationship with urban population and real estate development.
