The manufacturing level of aero engine related to science and technology, industry and national defense strength of a country, the processing quality of aero engine blade directly influences the working performance of the engine. The structure characteristics of aero engine blade is extremely complex, which belongs to the typical complex surface and thin-walled parts. In recent years, more and more aero engine blade use precision forging blade as blank, the machining accuracy of blade surface can guarantee by the precision forging process, but the processing requirements of blade edge and hard machining parts as blade root can not meet. Precision forging blades material use titanium alloy and high temperature alloy material,the material is difficult to machining.At present, aero engine manufacturing industry has started to use CNC abrasive belt grinding technology instead of the traditional manual way of grinding. the blade surface grinding using CNC abrasive belt grinding technology, greatly improved the processing efficiency, and blade surface after grinding has high surface quality, high processing precision and good product consistency. The blade of topic has no margin of blade body, grinding process of blade edge and blade root is to be researched to get the blade profile surface grinding equipment and once grinding machining of blade edge and hard machining parts as blade root.The main research contents of the paper are as follows:①The paper analyzed the structure and grinding characteristics of aero engine blade, and researched the aero engine blade grinding process, analyzed the influence of grinding parameters on the blade grinding process.②According to the processing requirements of aero engine blade, process route of blade grinding by abrasive belt can be determined. According to the process characteristics of aero engine blade edge, based on six axis belt grinding method of free surface, the paper put forward seven axis belt grinding method, and analyzed the function to control grinding pressure of the grinding equipment. Analyzed the grinding processing difficulties of aero engine blade root, and proposed two kinds of processing methods that flexible coated abrasives and abrasive belt grinding.③The paper determined scheme of aero engine blade grinding equipment. And then determined the parameters of machine according to the equipment scheme and blade parameters. According to the process route,determined the design of the blade edge and blade root grinding head, and completed the design of precision forging blade grinding equipment.④The development of aero engine blade surface grinding experiment is to determine the blade grinding process parameters and verify the feasibility of the blade abrasive belt grinding. The development of blade edge grinding experiments is to study blade edge grinding process and verify the superiority of seven axis belt grinding method. Compared flexible coated abrasives grinding method with abrasive belt grinding method to get the feasibility.
