With the rapid economic development, a number of large projects have become the important pillar of economic development, at the same time, its security has become the focus of attention of scientists. Such as large dams construction in the central and western regions, due to its large size and built in the central and western regions of earthquake-prone, the seismic safety and stability of large dams became the subject that we must study. Obtaining seismic observation data is the basic work on seismic hazard assessment and seismic fortification of structures and buildings. Taking the seismic data obtained by dam site earthquake monitoring array as the data foundation, this paper mainly studied on the characteristics of the peak ground acceleration, effective peak acceleration, acceleration response spectrum and Fourier spectrum. It obtained the following results:(1) The characteristics of peak ground acceleration and effective peak acceleration are analyzed.(2) Calculating the acceleration response spectrum of every recode. The variation of acceleration response spectrum peak and its characteristic period with the magnitude and epicentral distance are analyzed. The spectrum peak ratio and period ratio of acceleration response spectrum changing with the magnitude and epicentral distance are studied.(3) Fourier spectrum are calculated by Fourier transform. The variation of spectrum peak and dominant frequency with the magnitude and epicentral distance are studied.
