Self-centering structure has the advantage of reducing residual deformation of the structure after the earthquake. In addition, being a prefabricated construction, self-centering structure is helpful to realize industrialization of buildings. Therefore, self-centering structure has the great research value and broad prospect for development.However, self-centering structure is not fully recognized in China at present and the study of self-centering structure lacks systemic and pertinence. This dissertation introduced self-centering structure briefly and summarized the research status in detail based on referring to a large number of literature at home and abroad. In the form of self-centering frame with the hybrid connection as the starting point of research, this dissertation studied on the M-θ relationships of the beam-column connection section, and established finite element model of hybrid connection joints, and analyzed the influences of the mechanism of the hybrid connection joint, and carried out the dynamic time-history analysis of the self-centering frame. This dissertation acquired the following results and conclusions:① Based on the study of the mechanism of self-centering joint with hybrid connection, this dissertation put forward three kind of methods to solve the M-θ relationships of the beam-column connection section, named superposition method, four state comprehensive analysis method and numerical methods respectively.② This dissertation carried out the numerical simulation of six hybrid connection joints completed, and established finite element model based on Open Sees platform. By comparing the simulation and test results and combining with the mechanical characteristics of the hybrid connection, this dissertation acquired a reliable finite element model finally.③ This dissertation studied the parameters of the hybrid connection joint, and analyzed the main influences of the mechanism of the hybrid connection joint, based on the study of test. The four influences are the axial compression ratio of the column, the initial prestress of the prestressed reinforcement, the area of the prestressed reinforcement and the area of the mild reinforcement.④ According to PRESSS design guidelines and our country’s structural design specification, this dissertation had a try to design the self-centering frame with hybrid connection and carried out the dynamic time-history analysis of the self-centering frame under rare earthquake action. In addition, this dissertation compared the response of the self-centering frame with the response of the traditional cast-in-situ frame under rare earthquake action, and verified the self-centering structure can effectively reduce the residual deformation of structure after the earthquake.
