Synthetic natural environment resource is an importa nt part of virtual testing system,the single and idealized natural environment is difficult to reflect the combat effectiveness of weapon equipments in the extreme, specia l and adverse environment.Therefore, according to the test requirement it is necessar y to build up the comprehensive and complex natural environment. At present, ourlaboratory has already established the infor mation system architecture, also has developed the information system architecture support platform. The purpose of this paper is to develop the integrated natural environment resources in the infor mation system architecture support software, and to generate comprehensive natural environment data, and to provide environmental data for the virtua l test system. So in this way, it provide an important support for verifying the effectiveness of the weapon system under the boundary condit ions, and evaluating the effectiveness of the weapon system under the condition which is closed to the real environment.Firstly, we studied the synt hetic natural environment model, and establish the special environment model,such as gust, microburst, atmospheric turbulence in the atmospheric environment, light ning in the space environment and crater in the terrain environment,also design syntactic representation and semantic representation of the synthetic natural environment data which is based on SEDRIS. Make the cases analys is of synt hetic natural environment data synthesis software using the unified modeling language(UML),study the synthesis method of synthetic natural environment data, based on this,design the static model and dynamic model of the synthetic natural environment data synthesis software, following the standard of SEDRIS generate the synt hetic natural environment data. Through the study of the component interface standards of the information system architecture support platform and information interaction method, using object oriented method, start with the cases analys is,design and realize the synthetic natural environment resource components, provide the synthetic natural environment data for the experiment which is based on information system architecture supporting platform.Through the application verificationthea, based on the user’s think ing, synthetic natural environment synthesis software can be used to generate synthetic natural environment data, which is followed the SEDRIS transmission specification. The integrated natural environment resource component is also able to access to the information system architecture support platfor m correctly, to provide comprehensive natural environment data for other test members. The development of comprehensive natural environment resources can meet the design requirements.
