The hypersonic glide missile has the characteristics of both ballistic missiles and cruise missiles, including the long range, high maneuverability, high precision, etc. So it is expected to become one of the new generation of offensive weapons, which can effectively address the challenges of missile interception technology. But at the same time the hypersonic glide missile’s strong lateral mobility leads great heeling angle in flight, great longitudinal and lateral l oop coupling, both of which greatly increases the difficulty of guidance and control. Traditional separation of transverse and longitudinal guidance strategy is difficult to adapt to this situation. Based on the ideas of equilibrium glide and virtual displacement, this thesis studies the hypersonic glide-reentry vehicle’s three degree of freedom reentry trajectory optimization and guidance.First of all, based on the parameter of CAV-H, the dynamic model of the hypersonic glide missile is set up. Then the analysis of equilibrium glide constraint is finished and the flight corridor is established. After analyzing the influence of constraint condition on the flight corridor, it is determined that the hypersonic glide missile’s trajectory is composed of the initial drop, equilibrium glide and diving down phases.Secondly, the adaptive pseudospectral method is used to finish the optimization of the hypersonic glide missile’s initial drop and equilibrium glide trajectory. In order to achieve large amplitude lateral maneuver, the trajectory is segmented by some way-points. Simulation results show that the joint equilibrium glide trajectory satisfies all of the constraints, the controlled quantity is smooth, which mean the effect is good.Thirdly, the virtual displacement guidance method is designed by introducing the concept of virtual displacement in analytical mechanics. Simulation results show that virtual displacement is able to achieve high accuracy in both standard and uncertain conditions.Finally, the joint virtual displacement guidance method, which is based on the virtual displacement guidance method, is designed to solve the guidance problem of the hypersonic glide missile. Simulation results show that the joint virtual displacement guidance method achieve high precision in the case of parameter’s small disturbance.
