With the development of economic and technology, the life of building growing, the building environmentmay be more complex, the problem of reinforcement corrosion becomesemergent, and the extreme load which buildings may withstand may occur more frequent.Specification has been done to impact load in load code for the design of building structures(GB50009-2012).Reinforcement corrosion and impact load may result in the decrease of bearing capacity of reinforced concrete member, and cause serious damage. The method of accelerated galvanic corrosion to make the steel corrosion, and used the method of supersonic wave aided nondestructive testing to detect the damage which is caused by impact load and reinforcement corrosion. The damage degree of the RC short column was measured by damage factor which was obtained by calculation.The impact experiments of RC short column were carried out on the drop hammer test machine, and the remaining bearing capacity of components were got. The formular to determine the capacity was developed by considering the reinforcement corrosion and impact effects. The impact testing of corroded reinforced concrete short column was simulated in ANSYS/ LS-DYNA software.The following is the main research content of this article:(1) Using the method of accelerated galvanic corrosion to make the steel corrosionand the impact experiments of RC short column were carried out on the drop hammer test machine, acceleration time-history curve, the impact force time-history curve, strain time-history curve of concrete, strain time-history curve of steel bar were got, and the whole process of impact testing was recordedby high speed camera.(2) Using the method of supersonic wave aided nondestructive testing to detect the damage which is caused by impact load and reinforcement corrosion.The damage factor was obtained by calculation, and establishing the relation between the damage factor and bearing capacity of RC short column.(3) The experiment of residual flexural loading capacity of the RC s hort column was carried out by 5000 k Ncompressing test machine.The force-displacement curve was obtained. And the eqution to calculate residual capacity was established by considering the reinforcement corrosion and impact effects.(4) The impact testing of corroded reinforced concrete short column was simulated by ANSYS/LS-DYNA software. The results of numerical simulation were with that of the experiment data. Numerical model is validity with comparesion of numerical simulation and test results.
