| The underground stereo garage is a confined space, characterized by high parking density, great fire harm. Therefore, Research on the fire of the underground stereo garage would have vital significances. Applying the theoretical analysis, field investigation, experimental analysis and numerical simulation, the thesis studise on the fire of the underground stereo garage located in the City center residential area. The main results of the thesis are as follows:(1) The fire experiment of car’s combustibles shows that: when the the tyre near the petrol tank catch fire, the whole car fire has the biggest power: the fire growth rate would up to 0.2, and the maximum heat released would up to 7 MW.(2) The time that that the fire spread form burning cars to nearby car could be calculated, based on the radiation heat transfer principle, or by applying numerical simulation. The method based on the radiation heat transfer principle is only applicable to the condition that the bottom car catches fire.(3) The Markov Chain theory is used to research the process of fire spread among cars in the underground stereo garage. Study show that: without extinguishing measures, the probability that the fire spread form burning cars to nearby car would increases with time, eventually lead to more cars involved in the fire.(4) The numerical simulation results show that: Firstly, Sprinkler system can effectively control the closed space car fire and protect structure stability, when smoke exhaust system with fixed duct won’t make any difference. Secondly, the fire risk caused by the bottom car fire is smaller than that caused by the top car fire. Thirdly, the "Unit + roadway" structure helps to control fire spread among cars,with the sprinkler system help, the fire could be controled in a cell.(5) Fire safety Comprehensive measures that contain the technology and management are proposed according to the characteristics of the underground stereo garage. |
