Reinforced concrete frame structure is used widely all over the world, of which seismic behavior is the focus of the earthquake engineering and seismology. In recent years, earthquake occurs frequently, which makes the different extent of the damage to the Reinforced concrete frame structure. The global collapse is the main failure mode, and building envelope and infilled walls are another failure mode. The researcher on incremental dynamic analysis(IDA) and seismic behavior are sufficient. However, the information of influence of which is lack. So, based on the models of reinforced concrete frames, the paper indicates the effectiveness of IDA by evaluation of earthquake vulnerability by IDA, and the paper demonstrates the effect of layout of infilled walls, axial compression ratio, and concrete strength to seismic behavior of reinforced concrete frame structure. At first, in order to research IDA, 4 reinforced concrete frame structures are established with different height by Perform 3D, which are three-story, six-story,nine-story and twelve-story. Based on IDA, quantile curve and logarithmic standard deviation are used for researching distractiveness of IDA curve with the different earthquake motion intensities, from which the effectiveness of these intensities can be analyzed. Moreover, for the evaluation of anti-collapse capacity of frame structure subjected to major earthquake, and analysis of seismic fragility curves from IDA, the normal frame structure designed in accordance with China Design Code can reach the requirement for seismic fortification criterion. Furthermore, in the comparison with the different earthquake motion intensities, it can be obtained that effectiveness of PGV is more obvious than another, and the exceeding probability values for each limit state byusing PGV is relatively larger that is good for safety of buildings. At last, the result form vulnerability analysis indicates that uniform layout of infilled walls, less axial compression ratio and higher concrete strength can improve the frame structure seismic behavior, which can offer detail information to design of structure and property.
