For more than 100 years, air distribution mode of ventilation and air conditioning system is mainlytraditional mixed ventilation and displacement ventilation. In order to conquer weaknesses and limits of these two ventilation modes, Air Curtain Ventilation(ACV) has been developed. The supply air system of ACV do not take up the space of occupied zone and has higher energy efficient, better IAQ and less energy consumption.ACV has been studied by visualization experiment, numerical simulation and PIV reduced scale experiment previously, however it is still need further study about the hot air supply in winter. Under hot air supply in winter condition, the effects of different air supply velocities, temperatures and outlet positions on velocity and temperature field of room is studied on the basis of combination of CFD numerical simulation and full sizevisualization experiment. This research includes:(1) Based on the analysis of the previous research, the influence parameters of ACV under hot air supply in winter condition are studied.(2) A full size experiment model of ACV which supply hot air in winter is built, empirical formula of axial velocityand temperature of jet is given.(3) CFD numerical simulation of ACV is done under hot air supply condition, and the expressions ofjet axialvelocity decay are given.A theoretical basis of the application and engineering design of ACV is provided.
