Buoyant jet associated contaminants often appear in the coking, iron and steel metallurgy, automobile manufacturing and other industrial science laboratory buildin g. If the associated dust, carbon dioxide and other toxic and harmful pollutants, the p ollutants in the waste heat and not arrested at the same time, causing damage to theproduction process,will also be on workers the physical and mental health a gr eat threat.Therefore, environmental pollution and thermal pollution of industrialpolluta nts within the building damage, should cause our enough attention.In order to carry on the effective control of pollutants to obtain a good prod uction environment, this paper summarizes the research status quo of buoyant jet a nd the spatial distribution of pollutants and other related content, and then determi ne the physical model, studies thesuitable turbulence model the boundary condition s, the numerical calculation of material in the process of adopting linear differentialt reatment, which is based on the comparison with experimental data,methods to veri fy the numerical calculation. Then analysis heat and pollutant sources of building lo cal ventilation system with floating jetform and the upper part of the exhaust hoo d composition distribution.Then through the method of the heat and pollutant diffu sion theoryanalysis of pollutants and waste heat in different spatial distribution,the sp ace distribution of the pollutants in the hot and buoyant jetinterference.In the production process often affected by various conditions such assite con ditions, process flow and other restrictions, resulting inexhaust hood size is not toolarge, it will have a certain influence ontrapping efficiency. Aiming at this probl em, this paper puts forward a kind of local ventilation system optimization combination with jet.Analysis of the different characteristics of the entrained flow effe ct on the flow field, and then the effect of various characteristics of jetexhaust ho od capture efficiency. It Provides the ideas and reference foroptimization desig n of local ventilation system in practical engineering.
