In currently naval warfare, penetrating missiles bound to cause an explosion occurred inside the ship due to the rapid development of armour technology. With the significant increase in TNT equivalent and duration of explosion, bulkhead structure of the warship would support even worse explosion loading, and the loading would be a huge explosion impact in a short time, which requirements the bulkhead with better anti-explosion and anti-shock performance. Therefore, it’s important to research on bulkhead structural response and the corresponding strengthening measure for improving the fighting power and vitality of the warship under blast shock wave loads.On the basis of explosive shock wave theory, this paper studies air blast numerical simulation methods and the numerical simulation technology, researches on structural principle of simplification and standardized modeling of the key cabin in Chinese typical combat ship and regresses empirical formula with bulkhead structural response analysis and response prediction under air explosive loads. At last, this paper discusses the structural strengthening measures to get the bulkhead structure with better anti-explosive performance.The main contents are as following:(1) Studying explosive shock wave theory and researching element numerical simulation and verifying its feasibility. On the basis of explosive-produced air shock theory and finite element software MSC.DYTRAN, this paper bulids typical flat structure model to study the air blast numerical simulation methods and research the numerical simulation technology. The result shows that the numerical simulation technology is feasible by comparing the numerical simulation results with the theoretical calculation values.(2) Simplifying the compartment structure and determining the standards of the model. This paper simplifies the number of compartments and bulkhead components to determine simplified finite element model.On the basis of the simplified model, this paper selects different Euler mesh size, boundary conditions, coupling surface, coupling method, solving method to calculate a large number of finite element, and finally decides the modeling standard of the typical compartment structure.(3) Response analysis and prediction of bulkhead structure under blast shock wave loads.This paper simulates typical cabin structure, analyzes the impact of bulkhead structure under air blast shock wave loads and calculates structural response of bulkheads with different structure under blast loading. After all the previous process are complete, this paper gets the relationship between bulkhead structural response and explosion distance and TNT equivalent to predict shock resistance of typical ship bulkheads fastly and accurately.(4) Structural strengthening measures of compartments. This paper designs three new types of single bulkhead structures by strengthening local bulkhead structure aimed at the failure characteristics of the bulkhead structure, then compares the blast response of different structure to get the structure with better antiknock and anti-impact properties by combining with numerical simulation technology.
