With the development of power system, distribution network structure is becoming more complex, electric power load is becoming more and more larger, load density also becomes more and more high, those lead to that the current protection range become smaller dramatically, and also reduce the reliability, which bring hidden trouble to the distribution network,. So to study of a new relay protection device, to Make up defect of current quick break protection with the new current protection principle has important practical significance. In this paper with basing on the existing research of adaptive current protection and uses the embedded system technology, developed a set of distribution line protection and monitoring device with a variety of protection and monitoring functions, such as adaptive current instantaneous trip protection, traditional three phase current protection etc. The main works of this paper are as follows:l.This paper analyzes the principle and algorithms for distribution lines Adaptive Current Interruption protection. First, this study analyzed the tuning adaptive current Interruption Protection, and then conduct a comprehensive analysis of the distribution line adaptive current speed off to protect the protective properties of the different operating modes and fault conditions, and computer simulation analysis for voltage levels up to 35kV and below the traditional distribution network and intelligent distribution network.2.This paper summarizes the key technical problems of distribution lines Adaptive Current Interruption protection. Including the failure to start, the equivalent system impedance and the equivalent power supply potential line calculation, the type of fault adaptive, and power frequency steady-state component accurately extract critical technical issues.3. This article was developed on the basis of the design of hardware, software, awakened with Adaptive Current off the protective function of the distribution lines, Protection and Control devices. The use of advanced embedded system platform, complete with Adaptive Current Interruption protection, the conventional three-current protection, three-phase auto-reclosing and regular monitoring and control functions, the distribution line protection and monitoring the integration of device hardware and software design.4. Adaptive Current off the protective function of the distribution line Protection and Control device simulation experiments to verify the design effect of the device.The tests showed that the distribution line protection monitoring device is reliable, especially in its protective properties can change with the system operating mode, fault type and load conditions automatically adjust to the best condition and not the TV disconnection, which has a good application prospect.
