As the geotechnical engineering into the deep, a special phenomenon called “Three high and One disturbance” occurs. The strong seepage characteristic produces a great threat to the stability of geotechnical engineering.This paper introduced the detection technology of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy to research the permeability of rock.First of all, thecore of the engineering rocks were prepared to the six identical rock samples. Then, the rock electrochemical testing and rock permeability testing were carried out indoor, and EIS of rock and the permeability coefficient characterization of rock permeability were obtained. Finally, synthesize the test date to draw the chart and the relationship of technical parameters and permeability in high-frequency arc of impedance spectroscopy was analyzed. An important conclusion which proves the feasibility of the electrochemical method to study rock permeability can be reached. According to the test result, the functional relationship between permeability and characteristic parameters in EIS was obtained, as well as permeability and other technical parameters of R1-R2 will be found out.Through the experimental study of this paper, rapid measurement of rock permeability has been got. It has certain reference significance in study on the rock microstructure and the deep rock engineering stability.
