Remote-controlled weapon station is a new type of weapon system which has been popular in the world in recent years, with higher maneuvering, fast reaction and self-protective capacity, so, it is a focus of R & D in all military powers in the world. It is worth of studying the promotion of the target-tracking and control performance of the remote-controlled weapon station but without changing the complicated structure in the engineering design.The performance impact caused by the noise and lag of the target missing quantity is found by carrying out a control strategy analysis on the built tracking control model based on the practical engineering background in the paper.Thus a model that can accurately track a highly maneuvering target and an adaptive filtering algorithm are designed,and the algorithm has been proved to be effective in the actual system.The main content includes:(1) An overall design is carried out centering on the tracking control system,according to the remote-controlled weapon station system performance index requirements.The design includes the calculation and analysis for the core component selection,a description of the system model,operating mode and technical features,and some studies on the control models and control strategies.(2)Analyze fluctuation of the lagging time of target tracking error and the impact of noise of tracking error on dynamic tracking performance, verify that the message of the moving target acquired by the control system from CCD image sensor is lagged in transmission, particularly in course of tracking the fat moving target, MATLAB is applied for simulation contras.The experiment shows that the lagging time and noise of tracking error may seriously affect the stability and tracking precision of the control system.(3)Analyze the reason why the fast moving and slow target can not be tracked precisely, and undertake contrast by means of filtering Winner filtering method and Kalman filtering method, meanwhile, put forward one new type of self-adaptive least square method, and MATLAB is applied for simulation contrast. The experiment shows that the algorithms can completely meet the requirement.(4)Have memory tracking simulation contrast for the forecasting model data so as to verify its effect in application in the system, as well as brief discussion and prospect on the promotion of the firing stability control of weapon station’s combating performance.
