| The panel steel gate in the water conservancy project is mainly used for controlling water and is one of the most important hydraulic structures. In actual operation,the gate will produce vibration in different degrees due to the water flow during the partial opening or gate operation in dynamic water. In some special conditions, when the frequency of the dynamic water is the same as the natural frequency of the gate, the gate will generate a stronger vibration, the resonance phenomenon. The vibration of the gate will not only cause structural fatigue damage, but also can result in hydraulic structure cracks or foundation settlement. Therefore, it is of great signification for the design of panel steel gate to the research of gate vibration, the projections for gate vibration magnitude in front of working, pointing out the opening against gate operation and measures to prevent the gate vibration.The main idea of this paper is to study the flow-induced vibration of panel steel gate of Central Region, Jilin province by the method of physical model test and numerical simulation. And the gate design will be optimized according to calculation results. The main research content is as follows:(1)The gate preliminary design will be checked by the static and dynamic criterion. Optimizing the preliminary design and preparing for the next stage of model test.(2)The time-averaged pressure value and fluctuating pressure values will be measured by the hydrodynamic model. Study on the hydrodynamic pressure load with the change of the opening and the frequency of fluctuation pressure under different opening. The corresponding load time history curve for the numerical simulation will be provided.(3)The vibration acceleration of the gate will be measured by the hydro elastic model(4)The flow induced vibration analysis on the steel gate will be carried out by the finite element software. And the correctness of the numerical model will be verified Compared with model test results.(5)The steel gate will be optimized in the principle of safety, convenient and rational economic. In the end, a new structure which is suitable for this project will be put forward. |
