Pyrolysis gasification technology is one of the most important means of biomass comprehensive utilization. Straw is a common energy, so pyrolysis gasification technology for straw is very necessary. In the process of pyrolysis gasification for straw, tar pollution is the main problem. High-temperature is the main method to solve the problem of tar pollution. However in the process of pyrolysis gasification for straw, high-temperature makes straw char and ash produced in the process of pyrolysis gasification for straw s often and melt and the influence of fusion on pyrolysis gasification of straw is not clear and worth being studied. Therefore, it is necessary to study the melting characteristics of straw char and ash.In this article,study the maize straw melting problem in the process of high temperature pyrolysis gasification. through the high-temperature furnace for making straw char samples, analysis of temperature, heating rate, and residence time influence on production rate of straw char by producing the samples of the straw char in the high-temperature stove. The results showed that in the range of 800℃ to 1200℃, with the temperature increasing, production rate of straw char decreased and the rate decreased more obviously when temperature is in the range of 800℃ to 1000℃. When other conditions is the same and heating rate is different, the faster heating rate is, the higher the production rate of straw char is. When the residence time is different, the longer the residence time is, the lower the production rate of straw char is. The influence on fusion on the surface morphology and space structure of the straw with the different conditions was studied applying the scanning electron microscope(SEM) and specific surface area analyzer.Fast high-temperature pyrolysis experiment system of the tubular straw was designed and built. The influence of different temperature on the fast pyrolysis products of straw and the distribution of energy and exergy was studied. The results showed that with temperature increasing, production rate of straw char decreased and production rate of pyrolysis gas increases. The main components of pyrolysis gas were H2, CH4, CO and CO2. The value of energy and exergy of straw char decreased with temperature increasing. The efficiency of straw pyrolysis gas increased presenting the shape of ladder with temperature increasing.Using muffle furnace, straw ash was made. Ash melting experiments of straw ash and the straw char which was made in different conditions were carried out and deformation temperature, softening temperature, hemisphere temperature and flow temperature of str aw ash were drawn. Comparing with the melt temperature of straw char made at 1000 ℃, it could be concluded that its characteristic temperature is lower than the characteristic temperature of straw ash. When residence time is different and other conditions were the same, comparing the characteristic temperature of straw char, it could be concluded that with residence time increasing, the temperature distance of DT and FT of straw char increased and with residence time increasing, DT and ST temperature decreased. When the heating rate is respectively 10℃/min, 20℃/min and 40℃/min, the melting dynamic of straw char and ash was studied and respective frequency factors and activation energy could be gotten.This paper not only provides the maize straw tar and ash melting temperature, but also the influence of straw char about the characteristics of ash melting temperature.
