Parametric Modeling Of MD450-60 Type Multistage Centrifugal Pump And Research On The Improvement Of Balance Device

The 3D model of multi-stage centrifugal pump can not only be used in assembly, process simulation and intervene inspection, but also provide model for FEA and CFD. At present, the 3D model of pump is designed by traditional modeling. It is lead to a lot of repeat work and inefficient. In order to improve the work efficiency and reduce the time of modeling, researchers attach more and more importance to the 3D modeling parametric design.First of all, methods of Pro/E secondary development based Pro/Toolkit1 t is studied. Pro/Toolkit program through the C++ language achieve a custom menu designing, dialog box and the implementation of Pro/Toolkit applications in the environment of Studio Visual 2008. The multi-stage centrifugal pump parametric system is designed, including the design of parts, standard parts and so on. This system includes the main parts designing and model assembly.Secondly, this paper puts forward the designing of new balance device idea and the new balance device force analysis. The flow chart of the new balance device designing is set up.Finally, a type of MD450-60×4 pump new balance device is completed. According to the actual situation, the analysis of the axial force of the pump is carried out through the Fluent fluid analysis software. Compared with the theoretical calculation, the research shows that the method of numerical simulation is feasible.The method of parametric modeling of MD450-60 multi-stage pump is universal and can also be extended to other product parameter modeling.
