Construction Cost Index is an important basis for investment decisions, and it is the basis and key project of cost management. With the advent of the era of big data, the data is difficult to play a real value with manual and inefficient cost management information. Data warehouse technology as a rapid development of computer technology in recent years, as the cost index analysis and management provides a new way of thinking. Rely on data warehouse technology in the multi-dimensional analysis and data mining capabilities, establish a database and data collection and processing, the cost will benefit all levels of management timely and accurate grasp of project cost, raising the efficiency of cost management work.Taking the monthly publication cost information from Quota Station of Jinan City for the data source, built in Jinan City housing construction cost index analysis system, look for residential construction cost index, cost index analysis, cost index forecast and cost index export, in order to cost management decision support.In order to realize the construction cost index analysis system, discusses the residential project cost index, engineering cost management information system and data warehouse technology research and development status, China engineering cost index application status is discussed, and the problems existing in the application of cost index has carried on the thorough analysis. In the research data warehouse, online analytical processing and data mining technology on the basis of residential construction cost index analysis system needs analysis, and complete the conceptual model, the design of the logical and physical models.
