With the continuous development of mobile networks and growing social economy, people begin to require the higher quality life. Therefore, it is an inevitable trend of social development that creating a comfortable, safe, convenient and intelligent home life to improve the quality of human life. In recent years, combined with the intelligent home life supported widely by networking technical, designing a low cost, low power, and accurate and reliable wireless Smart Home Controller has become a hotspot of scientific research technology.The development of networking technology makes the technology of designing Smart Home has been greatly improved. Currently, the networking technology used mainly for smart home:WIFI, Bluetooth and Zigbee, etc. Due to high power consumption, WIFI can not achieve universal application in the field of Smart Home. In addition, since most of the intelligent electronic device without ZigBee module need to add the intermediate module, increased development costs, and the criteria of communication protocol that ZigBee vendors use are not uniform, products from different vendors can not interact. Therefore, ZigBee is also difficult to achieve universal.Through the above analysis, the paper studied the networking technology in the field of Smart Home, and proposed the scheme of Smart Home based on wireless transmission technology to solve the traditional cable transmission which is difficult to install, difficult to maintain, difficult to extend and so on. Meanwhile, based on the research of short-range wireless communications technology, using low-power Bluetooth 4.0 set up a home wireless network. The paper designed Intelligent Home Control System based on Bluetooth 4.0 technology which has low-cost, low power consumption, safe and reliability, to achieve the requirements of contemporary people that realize the intelligent home life.In this paper, the design of wireless home control system is divided into three parts. One is to design Smart Home Controller, using ARM Contex-A9 processor which has a low cost, low power consumption, high stability and other advantages. The operating system is Android OS which is easy to operate, easy to develop and has a better user experience. The second is to design wireless communication module based on Bluetooth 4.0 technology. Bluetooth module uses CC2540 of TI Company which can run V4.0 protocol. It has long-distance transmission, communications stability, low power consumption and so on. The third is to design the sensor node of Smart Home. The Smart Home wireless sensor network is designed by combining the Bluetooth module to the sensors. Finally, discuss the test of function or performance and result analysis of the system, showing that the Smart Home system is accurate, low power, high reliability and simple operation.
