Studies about the basic theory of traffic vibration involve broad subject areas, including elastic mechanics, structural dynamics, structural engineering, seismology, rock mechanics, acoustics and soil engineering, etc. It is a very strong integrated research field. Many researchers have investigated the spread and control of the subway vibration in the past few decades. Many findings have been achieved. But there are still some fields about subway vibration which were not studied systematically. There are no mature theoretical method and numerical method. Especially the studies about influence of soil temperature on subway vibration which located in seasonal frozen ground region. In addition, influence of subway vibration on dynamic response of surrounding buildings is also needed to studied. There is few studies about the subway vibration in seasonal frozen ground region. In this paper, numerical method was utilized to conduct investigations about influence of subway vibration on dynamic response of buildings which were located in seasonal frozen ground region. The field measuring date was utilized. The two dimensional finite element model was established based on general purpose finite element code ANSYS and its reliability was validated through comparing the results to research achievement derived before. Then the actual ground vibration acceleration obtained by field measuring was utilized as input stimulus for transient dynamic analysis. The ground vibration response laws at different locations and the propagation law of vibration wave were derived. The time domain and frequency domain response characteristics of ground vibration at different soil temperature were derived.Frame structures is one of the commonly used structural systems. Although there have been many researchesabout the influence of subway vibration on frame structure. But the study on frame structures located in seasonal frozen ground region is still in weakness. The parametrical analysis was conducted for the influence of story height and distance between subway and frame structures. The influence law of story height and distance between subway and frame structureson vertical vibration of floor was systematically investigated. The natural vibration characteristics of frame-shear wall structures is greatly different from that of frame structures due to the introduce of shear wall. So the influence subway vibration on frame-shear wall structures may also greatly different from that of frame structures. So a typical frame-shear wall structure was analyzed by numerical method based on the derived ground vibration. Influence of story height on structural dynamic response was derived. And the influence of soil temperature on dynamic response of structure was also investigated.Large-span spatial structures have undergone an unprecedented development due to its novel appearance, light weight. The dynamic response of these kinds of structures is different from other kinds of structures due to its large span. The large mass method was adopted to analyze influence of traveling wave effect on dynamic response of large span structures. Influence of multi-point excitation and uniform excitation on dynamic response of rigid arch and pinned arch was derived.Research results will provide guidance for structural design.
