With the development of science and technology, rotating machinery has been widely applied into our daily life, more and more fields are related to the dynamic balancing of the rotor. The research on the dynamic balancing of the rotor has played an important role in the production practice, and related problems have become hot directions of research these years. In order to maintain high efficiency at work and daily life, with the increasing of the requirements of equipment, it is necessary to design a balance testing system which has fast data processing speed, high calculation accuracy and better portable characters. In the rotor dynamic balancing field, the improvement of dynamic balancing test technology can promote the progress of science and technology, make our country in the technical field of automatic balance at a high level, and can obtain more profit for the enterprise, so the study of dynamic balancing of the rotor has great practical and scientific research value.This paper starts with the mechanism of the producing of rotor unbalance, analyses the components of unbalancing vibration signal and classifies the type of unbalancing vibration. In the end, the relation between the fundamental frequency signal and the unbalance quantity is obtained. The dynamic balancing technology is a complex problem, which includes sensor technology, testing technology, computer control technology, digital signal processing technology and so on. The key to achieve high precision dynamic balance detection is to design an effective signal processing algorithm, to accurately extract the unbalanced signal, and to analyze the unbalance signal to get the characteristic parameters of the signal. In this paper, based on the dynamic balance system, the test process involved various technical aspects, including signal acquisition, signal conditioning, system integration and signal processing algorithm.The main research work of this paper includes:1. For the extraction algorithm of amplitude and phase, the detailed analysis process is given, and the advantages and disadvantages of various algorithms are compared through simulation,the digital filtering technique of unbalanced signal is studied in order to filter the collected signal. Through the deep studying of the empirical mode decomposition, the detailed steps of empirical mode decomposition are given according to the principle of the algorithm. A Hilbert-Huang transform algorithm based on empirical mode decomposition is proposed. Firstly, the signal is decomposed by empirical mode decomposition, and then the Hilbert marginal spectrum is obtained by the intrinsic mode function, the amplitude and phase of the vibration signal can be extracted finally.2. With the study of the composition and principle of the hardware circuit of the dynamic balance test system, the principle of various sensor and application in different environment, as sensor signal acquisition unit, analysis and compares the sensor’s principle and realization mechanism, studying the measurement method of dynamic balancing system vibration signal amplitude, phase and frequency, researching the principle of signal conditioning circuit, can be used to acquire the reliable fundamental vibration signal, and to do further analysis and processing.3. With the detailed study of the structure of the dynamic balance test system, and the intelligent dynamic balancing test system based on K60 series Freesacle is designed. According to the field experiment, the dynamic balancing test system designed in this paper can be used in many engineering fields.
